Funeral for David Montgomery, 63, of Trinity will be Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Decatur First Holy Church of Christ with Rev. Charles Williams and Rev. Jamie Suggs officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Montgomery, who died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born , May 15, 1953, to Daniel “Tiny” Montgomery and Virgie Parker Montgomery. He was a member, deacon and song leader at Decatur First Holy Church of Christ. He was retired from Decatur Utilities. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Mildred Montgomery; and one brother, James Montgomery.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Montgomery; two brothers, Danny Montgomery and Paul Montgomery; sister, Ruby (Ray) Mitchell.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
