Kathy Denise Vanhorn Markham, 60, of Jasper, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from noon until 1 p.m., at Collins-Burke Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial following at Old Union Cemetery in Fayette. Kenny Wisner will officiate.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Cross Roads Methodist Church. Kathy attended the University of Alabama and Walker College. She received her degree as a registered nurse and retired from Ala Care Home Health.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Vanhorn; mother, Willa Faye Burnett Vanhorn; grandfather, Wesley Burnett; grandmother, Minnie Burnett; grandfather, Jack Vanhorn; and grandmother, Lilas Vanhorn.
She is survived by her husband, Tunney Markham of Jasper; daughter, Amanda Markham Keith (Derrick); sons, Jeremy Markham (Sara Hagood) and Chris Markham (Andrea Hussey); sisters, Tammy Vanhorn and Gina Vanhorn Henry (Paul) of Jasper; and grandchildren, Milo Markham and Max Keith.
