Floy Wales Smith, age 92 of Harvest, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Smith was born on April 30, 1924 in Limestone County.
She was preceded in death by her husband B.C. Smith, Sr., her son Roy Smith, her grandson Charles Smith, and her parents, Ervy and Tula Mae Wales.
She leaves behind good memories, four sons, B.C., Jr. and wife Nancy, Wayne and wife Linda, Ricky and wife Faye and Leonard and wife Sheryl; four daughters, Elaine and husband David, Agnes, Terry and husband Jim, and Tammie and husband David; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren; one brother Hugh Wales and one sister Oetta Wales.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Limestone Chapel with Everett Conn officiating. Burial will be in Ford’s Chapel Cemetery in Harvest, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Keith Webster, Dwaine Swaim, Jason Smith, Greg Smith, Michael Smith, Andy Smith, Heath Amesbury, and Jeff Swaim. Honorary pallbearers are Ben King, Chris Webster, and Mike Swaim.
