Carl Daniel Terry, age 73 of Muscle Shoals, died Friday October 7, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday 10-11 a.m. at Leighton Baptist Church. His funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary with Mark Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery.
Carl was a native of Leighton, and was a member of Leighton Baptist Church. He worked for Reynolds for many years and retired from TVA after several years of service. He loved to play golf, cook at his church and watch Alabama Football. “Roll Tide”
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, L.U. and Mildred Terry; brother, Bobby Terry; and granddaughter, Kayla Marie Tobola.
Carl is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Penny Terry; sons, Tommy Terry, Anthony Terry and David Grider; daughters, Tamie Vaughn, Tina Thiele; sisters, Loice Johnson, Lulu Simmons (Charles), Nancy Burden (Bobby); 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are James Lovelady, Anthony Oliver, Terry McMinn, Joe Kelley, Randy Rice and Kirk Jones.
