Mary Jane Conahan, 79, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016. She was born Aug. 8, 1937 to Rather and Gladys Durham in Margerum, Alabama. Mary Jane attended Unity Baptist Church in Decatur, volunteered for M.A.D.D., and was the past president of the Morgan County Chapter. She also volunteered with the American Red Cross and numerous other local organizations.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Leo E. Conahan; brother, Bobby Durham; and two sisters, Bettye Smith and Lynda Rickman.
She is survived by her son, Frank Williams (Linda); daughters, Donna Langston (Robert), and Tina Worley (Jimmy); grandchildren, Kyle Williams, Jesse Williams, Raven Aldridge, Brad Langston (Davis Ann), Paige Langston, Heather Worley, and Alex Worley; brother, Danny Durham; sisters, Sue Crow and Sandra Durham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Roselawn Funeral Home with Brother Joel Snyder officiating. Friends will begin gathering at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
