Jimmy Dale “DaDa” “Slow Talker” Smith, Sr., age 66 of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Liberty Grove Cemetery. Bro. Learon West and Richard Mead will officiate.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his Father-Roy H. Smith; Mother-Louise V. Smith; Son-Jimmy Dale Smith, Jr.; Brothers-Roger L. Smith and Alvin B. Smith; Mother-in-law-Flossie Leona (Peggy) Thomas.
He is survived by his Wife-Rhonda Smith; Daughter-in-law-Andria Smith; Son-Jonathan Daniel Smith (Kayla); Sister-Kimberly Hill; Brothers-Danny W. Smith and Calvin Lynn Smith; Grandchildren-Jacqueline Conner, Jadien Smith, Josie Smith, Jayde Smith; Great Grandchildren-Kayden Conner and Kyleigh Conner.
