archibold-kinney-1475513461Archibold “Archie” Kinney, 89 of Arab, Alabama, the Ruth Community, died Sunday October 2, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Kinney was born January 7, 1927 in Marshall County, Alabama to L.D. Kinney and Wincie Blanton Kinney. He worked in the construction industry as a cabinet builder and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and watching western movies.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Barbara Hipp Kinney; a son and daughter-in-law: Roger and Brenda Kinney; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Bob Gibson and a step daughter and step son-in-law: Amanda and James Willis; a brother and sister-in-law: Jack and Billie Jean Kinney; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson: Clint Kinney; two brothers: James Floyd Kinney and George Earl Kinney.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Mike Whitt and Greg Narrell, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Oak/Ruth Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
