Glenn Elliot Strong, 71 of Baileyton, Alabama the Hulaco-Ryan Community died Friday September 30, 2016 at V.A. Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Strong was born June 3, 1945 in Morgan County, Alabama to Earl E. Strong and Phoeba Victoria Nunnelley Strong. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Strong was an Electronic Technician for Adtran Electronics. He enjoyed everything outdoors including his peacocks and pheasants.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanette Irene Clark; one son Greg Strong, four grandchildren: Dillion Andrews, Trevor Strong, Devin Kimsey and Levi Strong and one brother Doug Strong. He was preceded in death by a son: David Strong, his parents: Earl and Phoeba Strong; a brother: Wayne Strong and a sister Sharon Vaughn.
Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday October 2, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Ronald Earwood and Chris Drake, officiating. Burial will be in Ryan Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Joey Clark, Michael Clark, Chris Walker, Trevor Strong, Levi Strong and Jeremy Collier.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday October 2, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, prior to the service.
