Tommy “Dooley” McDonald, 62, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Services will be Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at 2 p.m. He was an ironworker with the Local 477 for 41 years, a singer and musician, loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed playing sports, and was in the first band to play for the First Annual Saint Jude Trail Ride. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Tommy was a true all-American.
He was preceded in death by parents, Elvin and Dorothy McDonald.
Survivors are wife of 44 years, Lou-Ann McDonald; sons, Terry McDonald, of Leighton, and Matthew McDonald, of Leighton; grandsons, T.J. McDonald and Cole McDonald; granddaughter, Chloe McDonald, Paw’s little princess; sisters, Kaye Hale (Butch) and Renea McDonald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Mike Coan, Chris McDonald, T.J. McDonald, Lane Morgan, Hunter Oltmer, Steve Gargis, and Jon Jon Vandiver.
