Caleb James NeSmith – Obituary

Caleb James NeSmith, 27 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Thursday, September 22, 2016.

He was born on February 1, 1989 in Jasper, Alabama. Caleb was a member of Old Union Baptist Church. He attended Lynn High School and was a 2007 graduate of Carbon Hill High School. He loved to fish and was a self proclaimed “jack of all trades”. Caleb was known as “Snowman” or “Snowflake” by his mining buddies and “Little Man” by his family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs from 10am-12pm, where services will be held at 12pm. Reverend Kenneth Bishop and Cody Wakefield will officiate. Burial will follow in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.

Caleb is survived by his wife, Rachel NeSmith; sons, Colby James NeSmith, Herren Grant NeSmith, Phillip Craig NeSmith; father, Jeffrey Carol (Monica Dawn) NeSmith; mother, Sherry Lee Gustafson; brother, Aubrey Dylan NeSmith; father in law, James Devan Key; and mother in law, Lisa Christine (John Bruce) Aaron.

He was preceded in death by his stepdad, Phillip Wade Gustafson.
