William Christopher Gregg, age 47, passed away September 19, 2016, in Wilmington, NC.
He was born July 7, 1969 to Ronald C. Gregg and Cheryl Gunnells.
Chris was a loving husband, dad, and paw-paw. He had a warm smile and encouraging word for everyone he met. He was devoted to his family, and most loved spending time with them.
Chris served as a youth pastor at Sunset Park Baptist and Riley’s Creek Baptist Church. He is a member, as well as former Associate Pastor, at Silver Lake Baptist Church. Chris was passionate about his faith. He made a positive impact on so many lives, and will be greatly missed.
Chris is survived by his wife of twenty one years, Lisa Gregg, of Wilmington, son(s) Chase LeBlanc and wife Ashley, of Wilmington, Canton Gregg of Wilmington, daughter Sarah Gregg of Wilmington, father Ronald C. Gregg of Columbia, SC, mother Cheryl Gunnells, of Florence, AL, twin brother Bryan Gregg and wife Melissa, of Florence, AL, sister Tamela Tragila and husband Chris, of Florence, AL, and granddaughter Lillian LeBlanc of Wilmington.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, from 4:30-6:00 PM at Silver Lake Baptist Church, 4715 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM. Rev. Lenier Furr officiating
