Funeral service for James “Burns” Brown, 88, will be Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stephen Cannon and Bro. Billy Teague officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery (Vinemont). Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown died on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1927, in Cullman County to Francis Collins Brown and Clara Smith Brown. He was a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church of Falkville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his Wife: Mildred Brown, his parents and five siblings: William Brown, Alonzo Brown, Hiram Brown, Collins Brown and Mary Brown.
