TUSCUMBIA– The Alabama Music Hall of Fame comes alive with another magical evening of fun, entertainment, and music on October 25, 2016 @ 7:00 p.m.
That’s right….The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is having another Night at the Museum. The event is a fundraiser for the museum that gives the public a special opportunity to mingle with the best of Alabama’s music stars.
Many inductees and noted music achievers will be present including David Hood, Jimmy Johnson, Spooner Oldham, Donna Jean Godchaux- MacKay, Bobby Denton, Norbert Putnam, Marty Raybon, Mike McGuire, Jim Seales, Mark Narmore, Donnie Lowery, Gary Nichols, Jerry Phillips, Travis Wammack, Peanutt Montgomery, the Foster Family, Jake Landers, Roger Clark, Milton Sledge, Mickey Buckins, Walt Aldridge, Jimmy Nutt, Harvey Thompson, Howie Sledge, and many more. Griffin said, “Many of the music legends who wrote, sang, played on or produced some of the greatest songs ever recorded will share their stories behind the hits. The Hall of Fame inductees and other music industry icons will talk about how they got started in the music business, where they are now, and where they are headed. They will delve into what makes Alabama such a special place in the world of music.”
“Guests will be able to tour the museum and visit with these great music
minds and talents from around Alabama. It’s a great opportunity for questions, autographs, or pictures with some of these stars,” said Dixie Griffin.
The iconic stage from the Country Boy Eddie Show, preserved at the museum, will come back to life for the evening with music led by Mark Narmore and accompanied by many other music achievers, performing many songs that have made Alabama music popular around the world.
