Ashley Paige Skinner, age 22 of Nauvoo, went home to her Heavenly Father, our Lord, on September 17, 2016 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.
Ashley was a beautiful soul who loved life, she will always be in our hearts. She always put others before herself and she will be greatly missed. She attended Liberty Grove Baptist Church and Edgil Grove Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Carbon Hill High School, Class of 2012 and Jasper Beauty Academy. Ashley loved life and everyone in it, although her time on Earth was short, our lives will be forever be touched by her. So, as Ashley would want everyone to know, this was her favorite verse: “My peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
Our Ashley is at peace, until we meet again. We love you.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Liberty Grove Cemetery. Hancel Cox and Eddie Lockhart will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her Grandfather-Billy Joe Skinner and Grandmother-Loretta Hill.
She is survived by her loving family. Parents-Randy and Carla Hill Skinner; Sister-Magen Self (Jordan) and her precious niece Molly Kate Self whom she loved dearly; Papaw-Carlos Hill; Granny-Barbara Skinner; Aunts-Jennifer Skinner and Lori Kilgore; Uncle-James Kilgore; Cousins-Joseph, Jacob and Josh Kilgore; loving boyfriend-Austin Yealock; Special Friends-Camille Posey, Tessa Daily, Ashley Tubbs, Mallorie Buzbee, Katie Robbins, Brandi Miles, Tyler Smith and Kate Elliott, Ladies of Jasper Beauty Academy, Friends of 2012 Carbon Hill High School, Lupton Jr. High School; Host of Great Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
