Alice Bernice Williams Emfinger of Bryson, Tn. passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was born in Jemison, Alabama on August 19, 1920 and was 96 years old.
She was a member of Ardmore United Methodist Church and Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church. She was an Administrative Assistant with the State of Alabama for 20 years before retiring. She was a homemaker and loved her family, cooking and sewing.
Visitation will be 11:00 until 1:00 on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski.
Funeral Service will follow visitation at 1 o’clock in the chapel of the funeral home with Debbie Eubanks officiating.
Burial will take place in Prospect Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Edmon Emfinger and parents, Forrest and Mary Alice Limbrick Williams, brothers Gaston Fred “Bill” Williams and Audrey Felton Williams and sister, Minnie Elois Chandler.
She is survived by her,
Son, Forrest Edmon (Wanda) Emfinger of Bunker Hill, Tn.
Daughter, Alice Dee Cagle of Pulaski
Grand-daughter, Christina (Matt) Duke,
Great-grandsons, Tucker Duke, Hayden Duke
