Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Blackburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (507 Plummer Road, Huntsville, AL 35806) with Pastor Tremaine Snodgrass officiating. Interment will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Ms. Abernathy will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016 and 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Royal Funeral Home.
