Fred M. Capley, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday (September 12, 2016). Mr. Capley was a native of Lincoln County and was the son of the late Adell and Lena Mae Capley. Mr. Capley was a member of the First Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Survivors include his wife Hilda Capley, one son Tony Capley (Donna) of Sarasota, FL, one daughter, Gina Moore (Anthony) of Fayetteville, TN, one step-son Scott Horton (Robin) of Fayetteville, TN, one step-daughter Angela Vargas (Gil) of Fayetteville, TN, three grandchildren Jason Moore, Candace Moore Tate and Dara Capley, three step-grandchildren Logan Horton, Eric Horton and Tamara Moyers and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas, Harold, Charles and James. Funeral services will be conducted Friday (September 16, 2016) at 2 o’clock PM with visitation two hours prior to service at the Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Johnson officiating.
