Funeral service for Mary Edna Gann, 87, will be Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gann, who died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born Aug. 29, 1929, in Morgan County to John William Guire and Ada Embry Guire. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a member of Flint Baptist Church. She loved to sew, was an avid gardener and a nature lover. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Billy Gann.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Leslie Gann and her husband, Sean Bickel, Huntsville, and Marsha Gann McLemore, Decatur; one sister, Margarette Russell, Decatur; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Isaac Englund, Sawyer McLemore, Sean Bickel and John Hart.
