Funeral for Scharline Hitt Yarbrough, 70, will be Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Greg Standridge officiating. Burial will be in Caddo Congregational Cemetery in Lawrence County. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yarbrough, who died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at her residence, was born May 21, 1946 in Lawrence County to Willie Marvin Hitt and Helen Clardy Hitt. She was a homemaker, worked at Cotaco School as a special needs aide, and as a sitter with the elderly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Yarbrough; and by her brothers, Kenneth, Bill, Wendell, Jimmy and Randy.
Survivors include four sons, Ken Wigginton (Kay), Robin Wigginton (Suzanne Pitt), Ryan Yarbrough and Jacob Yarbrough; two daughters, Cindy Tyson (Craig) and Cricket Dudley (Alan); five sisters, Dorothy Stephenson, Barbara Copeland, Jackie O’dell, Patricia Hitt and Carol Hill; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Chase Tyson, Caleb Brooks, Cameron Brown, Nick Wigginton, Pat Hitt and Craig Tyson.
