Quilla Faye Palmer – Obituary

quillaQuilla Faye Palmer, 73, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born April 1, 1943, to Thurmon Oliver and Flora Pannell Sheffield. She was a homemaker and worked for Super-Sagless for many years. She loved horses, enjoyed sewing, and was a friend to anyone who know her.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Ministers Carl Dunlap and Douglas Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband Pete Turner; two sons, Randle Palmer of Marietta and Rockey Palmer of Mantachie; one daughter, Anita Palmer Mink of Baldwyn; one brother, Larry Sheffield of Mantachie; three step-children, Debbie Elliff and Sandy Foster, both of Mooreville, and Gary Turner of Mantachie; five grandchildren; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thurmon Sheffield, Jr.; and three sisters, Bobbie Nell West, Mae Kennedy, and Geneva King.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
