Miaxia DeShaun Vance age 18, of Athens passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2016. Miaxia was born on December 12, 1997 in Athens, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her father Stephen Corey Vance.
Miaxia is survived by her daughter, Jade Shanel Vance; mother, Cathy Allen Lopez and step-father Berto Lopez; grandparents, Librado and Kathy Najera, David Allen, Veronica and Dennis Johnson, and Willie Vance; great-grandparents, Marvalene Faulk, and Maggie Vance; sisters Keondra Najera, Korey Vance, Carina Lopez, and Nayeli Lopez; step-sister, Chelsie Davis; brothers, Damion Najera, Bubba Lopez, and Dominick Lopez; niece, Paysen Morrell, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family and friends.
The services for Miss Vance will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:45 at the Chapel. Burial will be at Draper-Chatman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Burrell, Damion Najera, Humberto Lopez, Marcus Vance, Librado Najera, and Damian “Bug” Howard.
