Samuel Arno Neeley, age 71, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at his residence.
Sam was born on October 25, 1944 and his family is from Pikeville, TN. He worked for years as a coal miner.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 03, 2016 at Keener Hill Church of God in Pikeville, TN, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will be in the adjourning church cemetery. Speaking at the service will be his brothers, Carl Keener and James Neeley.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Lisa Neeley, Billie Jean Meeks, Shane Neeley, Marcus Andreason; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Summers; brothers, James E. Neeley, Charles Thomas Neeley, Carl A. Keener, Jimmy Ray Keener, Glen Edward Keener; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster Neeley, Sarah Hestel Keener Summers; sisters, Helen Juanita Brock, Dovie Elizabeth Summers; and brother, Larry Lavan Keener.
