Vicky Martin Horzempa, 77, passed away on August 27, 2016 in Marietta, GA after suffering a fall while visiting friends.
Visitation will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville on September 10, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service.
Vicky was born in Sandusky, OH to Harry and Louise Martin on April 11, 1939. She grew up in Gadsden, AL, graduating from Gadsden High School in 1957. She earned a BS degree in Political Science from Randolph Macon Women’s College and continued her education at the University of Alabama, Birmingham Southern and Vanderbilt Law School.
Vicky had a career in sales with Martin’s Grill Meats and the Jolly Green Thumb. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, hosting friends and family, and Alabama football.
She is survived by her husband Martin Horzempa, son Martin Titus and daughter-in-law Tami Titus of Jasper, GA and grandson Jared Titus of Oak Park, IL.
