Alvie Gene Taylor, 79, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born June 15, 1937 to the late James Lawrence Taylor and the late Dorothy Johnson Taylor in Itawamba County. He was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, reading, working on his computer and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be at 12:00 pm on Monday August 29, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday August 29, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with the arrangements.
Survivors include his Sister, Peggy (Mike) Grissom of Golden, Brother, Kenneth (Shirley) Taylor of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Sue Taylor, his parents, Brother, James Lawrence Taylor, Jr., Sister, Vivian Taylor
