Rev. A.E. Dean, 85 of Arab, Alabama died Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Arab, Alabama.
Rev. Dean was born April 14, 1931 in Cullman County to Osmer Everidge Dean and Velma Alice Yarborough Dean. He worked in construction as a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Marines and enjoyed spending time with his family. Rev. Dean was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a former pastor of Church of the Living God, North Walter Interdenominational Church and Summit Interdenominational Church.
He is survived by his three daughters: Tammy Gaither, Lydia Dean and Valorie Dean; grandchildren: Tammie Raley, Tina Raley, Timothy J. Medley, Adam S. Medley, Jennifer Medley and Joni Guzman; great grandchildren: Brisa Guzman, Hector Saylon Guzman, Yiera Guzman, Sydney Swafford, Alyssa Swafford, Evan Medley, Isabella Medley and Cameron Medley; three sisters: Renetta Hinkle, Mary Chunn and Peggy Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents: Osmer and Velma Dean; his wife Florence Agnes Dupuis Dean; grandchildren: Angel Nicole Medley and Joseph Eugene Gothard and a great grandson Kyle Wayne Seibert Jr.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday August 26, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Elbert Parsons, officiating. Burial will be in New Beginning Church Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday August 25, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
