Annie Verdeal Eadie, age 84 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Carbon Hill. She will lie in state from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery. Scott McCullar will officiate.
Mrs. Eadie was preceded in death by her Parents-Lawrence and Nora Cooper Smith; Husband-Heyward H. Eadie; Sons-Michael Wayne Eadie and Heyward Hilton Eadie; Brothers-Roland J. Smith, William Robert Smith and Billy Smith.
She is survived by here Daughters-Hazel Eadie Prescott and Delores Eadie Richardson; Sisters-Faye Guthrie and Linda Hall; Brothers-Barney Smith, Harold Smith and Lawrence “Buddy” Smith, Jr.; Special Friend-William “Bill” Kilgore; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
