Funeral for Pauline Callahan Maples, 85, of Hartselle will be Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ralph Henderson officiating. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Maples died Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1931, in Morgan County to James Albert Callahan and Ella Lee Owens Callahan. Mrs. Maples was a member of New Center Baptist Church. She loved to quilt and garden and loved canning the vegetables from her garden. She was loved and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Maples; one son, Mark Maples and her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Champion, Falkville; two grandchildren, Anthony Maples (Jodie Barnett) and Brandon Maples; brother-in-law, Kenneth Eddy; close friends, Glenda Dunaway and Robert Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Ogle, Austin Wakefield, John Ryan, Shane McCormick, Jimmy Shadden and Rodney Eddy.
