Bennie Gowan of Pulaski passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. He was born in Pulaski on September 24, 1932 and was 83 years old.
He served in the Korean conflict, worked 25 years for Odom Tennessee Pride Sausage, 15 years for Valley Packaging, and loved to go dancing.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 20th from 3:00 until 7:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, August 21st at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial in Maplewood Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Gowan, parents, Bennie Burt and Alma Jenkins Gowan, brothers, Wallace and Joe Gowan, sister, Nettie Clifton.

Brother-in law, Arlan (Leona) Cummins of Pulaski
Nephews, Larry Don (Mary) Clifton, Steve (Joyce) Gowan and Matthew (Missy) Cummins
Nieces, Carolyn Roberts, Peggy (Wayne) Lovell and Edith Watts
