Charlie Greer, age 78, Haleyville, Alabama passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at his residence. Charlie was born in Rogersville, Tenn., served in the United States Army, where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, was General Manager of Masonite in Haleyville and was a Christian.
Visitation is Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Vance Hutton officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Greer; children, Charles Douglas Greer, Sr., Robert “Bob” Greer, Rick Carter, Steve Carter, Sherry Wilson and Kelly Ann Greer; brothers, Gerald Greer and Jim Greer; sisters, Linda Kay Kimbro and Betty Jean Standige; grandchildren, Kirsten, Marissa, Alexis Greer, Tyler Greer, Charles Douglas Greer, Jr. and Mia Greer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, KD and Ada Sellers Greer; 1st wife, Gail Greer; brother, Ronnie Greer.
