Betty Jean Hollis age 84, recently of Evans Georgia, longtime resident of Colbert County passed away, Friday, August 12, 2016. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hollis was preceded in death by Ardell O’Connor Hollis, Sr.
Family members include her son Ardell O’Connor Hollis, Jr. (Lynn) Tuscumbia, daughter: Celia Hollis Albert (John) of Martinez GA.; brother: Ben Meadows (Carolyn) of New Hope, PA; sister: Jimmie Baker (Don) of Birmingham, AL; 2 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
