Funeral service for Jennifer Wright Eddy, 43, will be Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anthony Patterson and Bro. Nathan Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Eddy died on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 22, 1973, in Morgan County to John Wright and Linda Fay Sandlin Wright. Jennifer worked in food services for Sami’s Mexican Restaurant in Decatur. She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She graduated from Hartselle High School in 1991 and attended Calhoun Community College and Athens State University.
Jennifer was an avid baseball and basketball enthusiast, having travelled many miles for Kyle’s Teams, and was a great encourager of Blane’s musical interests and an attentive, supportive mom to Dalton. Jennifer had a great love for her family and friends, a big heart, a quick smile and was always there when she was needed. Jennifer, also known as “Gaga”, loved spending time with her Rylan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joe and Amanda Sandlin and Joe and Lottie Wright, her Aunt: Rhonda Sandlin, and an Uncle: Joe Lawson Wright .
