Memorial service for Gloria “Jeanne” Pressley, 65, will be Monday, August 15, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.
Gloria “Jeanne” Pressley, beloved wife and partner of V. William “Bill” Turkus passed away on August 10th, 2016 at the age of 65, in Hartselle, AL. Jeanne was born in Maryland to the late: Francis and Mary Myrtle (Whittington) Goldsmith but relocated to Alabama twenty plus years ago. Jeanne dearly loved animals and actively rescued many cats and dogs, but espeicially her dog, Ebe, who was her faithful companion for many years. She was a loving and giving person whom will be deeply missed by all. Jeanne was registered as an organ donor as her parting gift to others.
