Jerry Minnis, a resident of Huntsville for 56 years, passed away Wednesday at Huntsville Hospital. Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and others whose lives he has touched.
Jerry retired from Engineering Manufacturing Services with 27 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mamie Brumley and Kelly Minnis; and his loving wife: Ruby Minnis.
Survivors include his loving cat: Nero; daughter: Teresa Minnis; dogs: Gracie and Gidget of Smyrna, TN; son: Mike Minnis and wife Lynda; grandchildren: Michael Minnis, Jr. and fiancé Bethanne Lee, and Marcus Minnis; fury friends: Slate and Shadow; brother: Bob Minnis and wife Linda; sister: Barbara Gail Evetts; two nieces: Cindy Midas and Tracey Minnis; and two great-nieces: Hannah Midas and Emily Midas.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 3:30 graveside service at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
