Mrs. Doris Jean (Puckett) Rivers, age 79, of Decatur, died Monday, August 8, 2016, at her residence. She was born May 11, 1937, in Morgan County to J. P. Puckett and Tennie Layton Puckett.
She is survived by two sons, David A. Rivers and Michael W. Rivers, both of Decatur; one brother, George E. Puckett, of Kalamazoo, MI; two sisters, Martha Lee Hall of Kalamazoo, MI, and Barbara Faye Vincent of Falkville, AL; and two grandchildren.
