HUNTSVILLE-Huntsville International Airport officials released a statement on Monday, August 8 that a new air carrier will be added that will offer direct flights between Huntsville and New Orleans’ Louis Armstrong International Airport.
GLO has been added to the roster of airlines from Huntsville International 
Airport. GLO is a regional airline that operates a small fleet of 30-seat, turboprop aircraft from its base in New Orleans.
GLO Airlines beginning on September 30 will begin to offer $99 one-way direct flights between Huntsville and New Orleans according to the press release issued on Monday.
