CORDOVA-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released a statement regarding a traffic accident that occurred on Thursday, August 4 near Cordova. Alabama resulting in the death of one person:
“HAMILTON POST – A two-vehicle crash Thursday, August 4, has claimed the life of a Rome, Ga., man. Ron Greenfield, 66, was killed when the 2015 Freightliner he was driving collided with a 1999 Volvo driven by Kenneth Stevens of Memphis, Tenn. Greenfield was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he died at 2:07 p.m. The crash occurred at 11:55 a.m. on Interstate 22 near the 70 mile marker, one mile south of Cordova. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
