Graveside Funeral Service and Interment for Myra Ruth Parks, 89, will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Arab City Cemetery with Rev. Jess White officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Ms. Parks died on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Covenant Hospice Inpatient & Pallative Care Center in Pensacola, Florida. She was born July 12, 1927, in Marshall County to Charlie Henry Powell and Alma Boyd Powell. She was employed, prior to her retirement, by Blue Cross – Blue Shield as an Accountant and was preceded in death by her parents.

Two Daughters:
Deborah Preuitt (Eddie), Hartselle, AL and
Brenda Parks Pigg (Dicky), Pensacola, FL
Two Grandchildren:
Jason Preuitt (T.J.) and
Trent Preuitt (Nicky)
Four Great Grandchildren:
Larissa, Jace, Mya and Nash.
