Linda D. McCorkle, age 69, of Tuscumbia, died Friday, July 29, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia with brother-in-law, Allan Boyne officiating.
Linda was a native of Tuscumbia and a medical secretary her whole life. She was a long time member of Westside Baptist Church, Tuscumbia. She was preceded in death by her father, William G. McCorkle.
She is survived by her mother, Edna Malone McCorkle; sisters, Frances M. Boyne, her twin, Brenda J. McCorkle, and Theresa M. Richards; special friend, Pam Green and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Phillip Willingham, Jeff Richards, Carl Richards, William Richards, Michael Richards, and Ryan Kelly. Honorary pallbearer is Dale Richards.
The family expresses a special thanks to all the doctors and staff of Helen Keller and ECM Hospitals.
