Funeral service for Lamar “Catman” George, 72, of Danville, will be Monday August 1, 2016 at 4:00PM at Peck Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Chesier officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday August 1, 2016 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. George died Saturday July 30, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 14, 1943 in Morgan County to Ezra Cornelius George and Rutha Belle Lake George. Mr. George was a self-employed truck driver and business owner; he was also a lifelong resident of Morgan County. Mr. George was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert George and Billy George; and a sister, Hazel Byassee.
