James Calvin Clanton, 92, of Florence, AL, passed away July 28, 2016, at his home with his loving family. Daddy was a faithful man of God, who worshipped and attended Cloverdale First Baptist Church, and was one of the last pioneers of the church which he loved so dearly. He was a Carpenter, Farmer and in the Auto Salvage business, and a member of the Florence Wagon Club.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Saturday, July 30, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 31, at 2:00pm in the chapel with Jay Clanton & William Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Emmaline Stutts Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Chris Clanton, David Greene, Keith Barnes, David McFall, David Gray & Joshua Givens.
