Robert “Bob” Marion Namie Sr., of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, at the age of 68. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Mass will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Christine Namie.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue Namie; sons, Steve Hill (Kerrie) of Decatur and Bobby Namie (Ashley) of Spring Hill, Tennessee; daughters, Karen Shelton (Michael) of Denver, North Carolina and April Hitt (Jimmy) of Decatur; brothers, Jerry Namie and Don Namie; sister, Vicki Anderson; and six grandchildren.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed woodworking. He also loved to spend time on the water, boating with his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley and the Russell Hill Foundation.
Roselawn Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
