Archie Johnson Sides, age 81 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Wayne Page will officiate.
Mr. Sides was preceded in death by his Father-James Lester Sides, Sr.; Mother-Lillie Gay Johnson Sides; Brothers-Ollie Sides, Jerry Sides and James Lester Sides, Jr.; Sisters-Ella Mae Hill, Bessie Gay Wade and Martha Lee Blanton.
He is survived by his Wife-Lourdes Melicor Sides; 2 Daughters; Stepsons-Albert Childress, David Childress and Noel Childress; Sister-Judy Majors; Host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
