EVA-Morgan County Drug Task Force received a search warrant after officers investigating another incident observed what appeared to be a drug operation at 14 Bethel Church Road in Eva, AL.  Sheriff Ana Franklin issued this statement:

“Agents with the Morgan County Drug Task Force obtained and executed a search warrant on 14 Bethel Church Rd. in Eva, AL. after Criminal Investigators found what they believed to be items used to manufacture methamphetamine while investigating another incident.

Agents found Gerry Don Holcomb (47 W/M) to be in possession of 2 One-Pot meth labs, one of which was still active, trafficking amounts of meth oil, and other paraphernalia in the garage next to Holcomb’s home. Agents also found and seized two handguns inside the residence.

Gerry Don Holcomb was arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine 1st deg, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of marijuana 2nd deg, and Misdemeanor Possession of drug Paraphernalia, then decontaminated by Bethel VFD before being transported to the Morgan County Jail, where he was booked with a $75,600.00 bond.”
