Martha (Marty) Hudson Conroy, resident of Elkton, TN and former resident of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on July 15th, 2016. She was born in Washington Township, Scioto County, Ohio on April 20th, 1936.
Marty graduated from Wilmington College with a degree in education, going on to get her masters. While living in Cincinnati she was a beloved 1st grade teacher and enjoyed participating with the local theater groups, singing and acting. Living in Elkton Martha was very active in her church. She was known for always making everyone feel welcome, especially those new to the church. She was very generous, always giving…the beautiful piano music you will hear at the church is played on a gift from her.
Preceded in death by her husband of many years Edward A. Conroy and stepson Matt Conroy.
She is survived by her,
daughter, Shannon Altschuler of Cincinnati, Ohio
son, Kenneth Grooms and wife Nancy of Concord, NC
stepdaughter Ann Pullen of Athens, AL
grandchildren Simon, Olivia, Betsy & Jason.
special friend and companion Robert Mans of Elkton and family Tim & Theresa Abernathy, their children and grandchildren.
She will be missed greatly.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 28th at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with visitation beforehand.
She will be interred at the church.
