Stella Watson Calloway, age 90, of Florence, died July 20, 2016, at Heritage Health Care in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Spry~Williams Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Walter Calloway; her parents, Mamie Call Watson and O.L. Watson; and her brother, W.T. Watson.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Nancy Calloway, of Denver, North Carolina, and Sam and Resa Calloway, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; grandchildren, Paige Calloway and Tim Calloway; and very special friends, Pat and Dickey Howard, Pam and Mike Howard, and Angie and Greg Richardson.
Mrs. Calloway was a member of East Florence Church of Christ and was retired from the Florence City Board of Education.
Pallbearers will be Dave Craig, Mike Howard, Greg Richardson, Trey Richardson, Garry Watson, and Greg Watson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the elders of East Florence Church of Christ.
