Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Rev. James A. Shaneyfelt, Sr., 85, will be Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lebanon Baptist Cemetery with Bro. A. Ray Lee and Rev. Randall Ashley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Rev. Shaneyfelt died on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1931, in Ohio to James Buren Shaneyfelt and Altha Lorraine Barkley Shaneyfelt. He was a Southern Baptist Minister for many years in Ohio and in Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years: Lillian Jeanette Shayer Shaneyfelt and his parents.
