Rita Ann Honea, 65 of Fayetteville, Tennessee died on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, August 19, 1950 in Fayetteville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Goolsby and the late Dorothy Johnson Goolsby. She was a lifelong resident of the Lincoln County area and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Harold Goolsby.
Surviving are sons, Anthony (Amy) Honea of Ardmore, TN and Tim (Shannon)Honea of Fayetteville, TN, daughter, Carla Honea of Taft, TN, brother: Mike Goolsby of Nasville, TN, sister: Judy Sanders of Madison, AL, grandchildren: Deanna Long, Chelsea Hicks, Rebecca Hicks, Dakota Honea, Alyssa Honea, and Will Honea, and five greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Rusty Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
