Ralph Fredrick Chapman, 94, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Wednesday. Mr. Chapman was a native of Detroit, MI. He was the former Convention Director for the City of Tampa, FL and a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife: Nancy Chapman; four sons: Fredrick Chapman, Mark Melon, Matt Melon, and Garry Melon; two daughters: Robin Chapman Cain Allen and Cindy Butler; sister: Virginia Smith; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Whitesburg Baptist Church Chapel. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
