Sherrie Jan Uptain, 53, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 18, 2016, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at noon in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at New Hope Cemetery on the Sipsey Cutoff Road. James Aaron will officiate.
Mrs. Uptain was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Allred; mother, Edna Allred; granddaughter, Breanna Allred; two sisters; and five brothers.
She is survived by her first husband, Paul Uptain; daughters, Felecia Wallace (Asa) of Jasper, Brandi McKenzie (Dennis), Miranda Sanford (Ben) and Melissa Anderson (Micah); son, Adam Allred; sister, Joyce Boackle; brothers, Avery Allred (Pam), Wayne Allred, Tommy Allred, Dale Allred (Gail), and Von Allred (Paula); and grandchildren, Kenzie Uptain, Emma Colborn, Lana McKenzie, Jacob Uptain, Cole Anderson, Alivia Anderson, Brigett Speshock, Sammy Sickles, Jaysen Uptain, Lucas Sanford, Carter Sanford and Hunter Allred.
