Funeral for Jacob Edward “Chirky” Scott, 22, will be Monday, July 18, 2016, at Parkway Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Neil Carter officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery . Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 2016, from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Scott, who died Saturday, July 9, 2016, in Virginia, was born, July 20, 1993, to Jason Edward Scott and Dori Slater. He was preceded in death by father, Jason Edward Scott, and grandmother, Johnnie Willis.
Survivors include mother, Dori (Johnny) Slater; four sisters, Elaina Slater, Allison Slater, Christian Slater, and Madison Scott; grandfather, Norman Willis; grandmother, Trish Rogers; grandparents, Brian and Cindy Scott; and grandparents, Johnnie and Carolyn Slater.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
